The much needed update

I was reminded (somewhat) recently that I am tragically behind on (both) my blogs. So here I am, FINALLY posting again.

I graduated on time, thanks to some late night online class sessions near the end of April. I got to go home for a couple weeks and spend some time with family, which was amazing. ^_^ And then I moved to Greenwich, Connecticut. It's absolutely beautiful here, but everybody is fairly well off, which makes me feel a bit out of place. But I've been to NYC a couple times (here, they call it The City), and I'm going again in a few weeks for an Owl City concert!

What am I doing in Connecticut? Well...I'm a nanny/kind of housekeeper/chore-doer. I care for four kids, who I shall call Six, Eight, Twelve, and Thirteen. In that order, they're boy-girl-boy-girl. They are very cute. I've been here since mid-May and I'm not sure how long I'll be here for.

I bought a rat recently, named Lucy, and while she is extremely adorable, she is a handful (in both senses of the word.)

Here is a reintroduction of myself:

Also, here is a list of all the (visible) wounds I have received thus far:

1. My rat bit me. My fault.
2. Scratches from one of the many times the bunny panicked.
3. More bites from my rat.
4. Burn from when I was lighting the gas stove. (There's another burn on my other hand from the oven.)
5. Bruises on my shins from crawling in plastic tunnels at Leapin' Lizards.

So, yeah. Pretty much normal for me. I've always gotten scratches and bruises, so I'm used to it. :)

I'll try and have a more detailed update on my other blog sometime soon. Hopefully.
